As we share the heartbreak of her passing, we remember the woman who graced our screens with a presence and talent that knew no bounds.

In a statement on 23 August, the Nyembe family and Department of Sport, Arts, and Culture confirmed the passing of the 75-year-old actress. Nandi, known for her memorable roles in Zone 14, Isibaya, and Soul City, among others, leaves behind a legacy that will be forever remembered by those who had the privilege of witnessing her craft.

Through her remarkable performances, she transformed the lives of those who watched her, sharing laughter, tears, and moments of pure joy. The Introjuice Media family stands alongside the Nyembe family and South Africans worldwide as we bid farewell to this extraordinary soul.

In recent years, Nandi faced a multitude of challenges, including financial hardship and declining health. 

Despite these obstacles, she never faltered in her spirit or dedication to her craft. In a video earlier this year, Nandi bravely shared her struggle with unemployment and medical expenses, but never asked for handouts; instead, she sought the opportunity to continue doing what she loved: acting.

Today, we honor her courage and the light she brought into our lives, and we thank her for sharing her incredible talent with the world.
