Hulk Hogan, Wrestling Icon and Pop Culture Legend, Passes Away at 71

Legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan, born Terry Bollea, passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 71. 





His manager, Linda Bose, confirmed the news to multiple sources, stating that he experienced cardiac arrest at his Clearwater, Florida home. The WWE Hall of Famer and global pop culture sensation will be remembered for his impressive achievements and influential impact on the wrestling world.

Hulk Hogan, a larger-than-life character with an iconic handlebar mustache, had a successful career spanning several decades. He first gained fame in the 1980s as a key figure in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), which later became the WWE.

 Hogan's charismatic persona and captivating performances led to unprecedented success for the organization, transforming him into a household name and a role model for fans worldwide.

Throughout his extensive wrestling career, Hogan amassed multiple accomplishments. He held numerous heavyweight championships in both WWF/WWE and World Championship Wrestling (WCW), including six WWE Championships and six WCW World Heavyweight Championships. His legendary rivalries with the likes of Andre the Giant, Randy Savage, and The Ultimate Warrior, among others, helped shape the narrative of professional wrestling for generations to come.

His legacy lives on." WWE boss Vince McMahon also shared a heartfelt statement, expressing gratitude for their enduring friendship and referring to Hogan as "the greatest WWE Superstar of all time."

Beyond his wrestling career, Hogan ventured into acting and reality television, starring in movies such as "Rocky III," "No Holds Barred," and "Suburban Commando." Additionally, his personal life and legal issues garnered public attention, with notable controversies including a leaked sex tape and a widely publicized lawsuit against the news website Gawker.
